SkyWave Video Traffic Counter:

The detector used in the system is known as VTC (video imaging) and VTC-T (Thermal). VTC is small and discreet and is highly accurate delivery accuracy of up to 98% accuracy. The state-of-the art VTC also has the ability to distinguish incoming and outgoing traffic.

Technology:

A built-in processor in the VTC analyses captured images and converts it into data form. The data is transmitted via the standard CAT5 data cable to the backend workstation. The VTC uses image-processing method to count human traffic.
